A Better Leader Receives a GOLD Cindy Award, their Highest Honor

Cindy-Award“A Better Leader” has received a Gold CINDY award in the recent International CINDY Competition. CINDY awards are presented to those who have produced programs that achieve the very highest levels of excellence in production value and message effectiveness. “A Better Leader” has been recognized as the best of the best.

For this year’s events, over 4,800 entries from around the world were judged covering 160+ subject- matter categories of media. Programs included websites, videos, podcasts, webinars, films, commercials, documentaries and more.

“A Better Leader” (www.abetterleader.com) was created to provide companies with powerful, consistent, engaging leadership training that’s accessible to everyone at a reasonable cost. With dozens of topics, organized into four focus areas, “A Better Leader” provides training managers with administrative access over which topics are presented and in what order. Corporate leaders can take advantage of video, downloadable, interactive, and in-depth resources to help them explore each topic fully. “A Better Leader” engages learners on Supporting, Motivating, Improving, and Connecting with People in areas such as delegating, conflict resolution, prioritizing, change, praise and recognition, goal setting, and more.

“We’re thrilled to have been recognized with this award,” said Walter Orechwa, CEO of Projections, A Better Leader’s parent company. “Companies across the country are recognizing that the content of this resource is far superior, and training managers are taking advantage of how easy it is to administrate. I think those factors are what helped this tool take CINDY’s highest honor.”

Since 1959, the CINDY Awards have been honoring interactive and linear media for both broadcast and non-broadcast applications. CINDY is an acronym for “Cinema in Industry” and originally began as an industrial film competition. It was created by the Industry Film Producers Association (IFPA), an American professional producer’s organization. Today 12 Regional and two International CINDY Awards are proudly presented by the International Association of Audio Visual Communicators (IAAVC), a group that continues to represent theatrical, broadcast, non-broadcast, and interactive media professionals throughout the world.
